There is nothing better than grabbing your favorite book and nestling into a cozy window bench. Oh wait, there is something better…when that cozy window bench has tons of storage too.
The biggest question I always get
what type of wood did you use for this?? For this build I used 2x4’s for the base (the cabinets you see sit on top of that base) 3/4” oak plywood for the cabinets and most of the drawer pieces, and 1x2 solid oak for the face frame.
There are more affordable options when it comes to building cabinets but I wanted to let the wood shine in this space - which meant using more expensive oak plywood and solid oak.
